We wish you a Merry Christmas…
December 19, 2012
On what is nearly the eve of Christmas and the long awaited break, I wanted to use this blog to wish all of you the best of the season. These weeks leading up to Christmas have been emotional and draining, even more than normal, for parents, teachers and care providers everywhere. I hope that we all send a prayer of protection and love to all children all around the world everywhere, but especially those in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and in China. Hopefully 2013 will see an increase in peace and love around the world.
We have the privilege to be spending time with both immediate and extended family, and our tree is already stuffed full with gifts. I am loving the joy and wonder in my children’s eyes as they try and guess what might be wrapped up under there for them.
With that in mind, I hope that you all take the time to relax and unwind surrounded by the love and warmth of your family and/or friends. I wish for you a peaceful 2013. I hope that Santa brings your children what they asked for so you can enjoy the look of pure joy, wonder and innocence as they enjoy the magic of Christmas. I wish for you bellies full of delicious food and drink. I hope your table is laden with food, and surrounded by those you love.
Best wishes for a fabulous holiday season and a very happy new year. Thank you so much for coming along on this blog journey I started this year, and I look forward to writing more in the new year!
