Lately, I’ve been reading a wonderful blog by Lori, aka The Frugal Momma, who shares deals and tips for parents looking to make their dollars stretch a little further. With the price of EVERYTHING going up these days, she has inspired me to do something similar for childcare providers.
Read on for more! This week at Costco for washing needs – all those little hands and all those dirty dishes! Save on hand soap and dishwashing soap. http://www.costco.ca/warehouse-instant-savings-ab.html Also at Costco, you can find a 6-pack of sleeping cots ($199). I’ve been reading quite a bit of discussions about needing cots for kids to nap/rest, and came across these for you.
Save On Foods has watermelon, strawberries and raspberries on sale this week! I have yet to meet a child who doesn’t like at least ONE of these fruits. Stock up for easy snacks and/or freeze for making smoothies later. Serve with Krema Greek Yogurt (2/$7 this week), and you’ve got a complete snack that will keep the kids going for hours….or until the next meal time anyways
Looking for ways to change up your toy and or craft supplies? The Edmonton FreeCycle Network is an online community of people giving away all sorts of things FOR FREE!! On the first page today, I saw Diego Books being offered. You simply have to pick up.
